Wantagh Youth Baseball Team Wins New Jersey Tournament
Wantagh Hawks take first place in Bridgewater, N.J. Memorial Day Tournament.
The Wantagh Hawks youth recently finished in first place while competing in the Bridgewater, N.J. Memorial Day Tournament.
The Hawks took part in the under-10 division of the tournament held in the Garden State. In the championship game, the Hawks, which are comprised of nine and 10-year old boys from Wantagh, defeated the Tenafly Tigers, 8-0. The Wantagh youngsters gave up a total of four runs in the tournament.
