Free Movie Nights Taking Place at Cedar Creek Park

Movies will be held weekly starting on Aug. 6.

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced that Movie Nights at Cedar Creek Park will return this summer.  

Beginning at dusk, films will be shown on Tuesday’s from Aug. 6-20. Admission is free. 

“We have had such great feedback and attendance at our annual Summer Movie Nights in Eisenhower Park, that we have expanded our outdoor movie series to Cedar Creek Park as well,” Mangano said. “It’s a fun event for the whole family to attend.”

Cedar Creek Park Summer Movie Night Schedule:

  • Aug. 6th: My Cousin Vinny – sunset 8:04 p.m.
  • Aug. 13th: Ghostbusters – sunset 7:56 p.m.
  • Aug. 20th: Back to the Future – sunset 7:46 p.m.

There is no formal seating at Cedar Creek Park, so movie-goers are urged to bring folding chairs or blankets.  If weather conditions are doubtful, please call 516-572-0355 after 7 p.m.
