Nassau Summer Rec Program Available at Wantagh Park
County offering five-week programs for kids ages 5 through 12.
Nassau County is offering Summer Rec Programs for summer 2013 in five parks – Wantagh Park (King Road, Wantagh), Cantiague Park (West John Street, Hicksville), Eisenhower Park (East Meadow), Grant Park (Broadway, Hewlett), and Nickerson Beach Park (Lido Boulevard, Lido Beach).
The programs will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (or a full day option from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) from July 1 through Aug. 8 and will be closed on July 4.
Kids ages 5 through 12 can register for a fun summer program that includes swimming (in 3 parks), arts & crafts, sports and more. Fees are $700 per child or $850 for the full day program. Sibling discounts are offered for second, third and fourth kids registering.
