Seaford Farmers' Market Features Two New Vendors

Hand-made soap and hummus vendors join the fray this weekend.

The Seaford Farmers' Market, which takes place every Saturday through the end of November, will feature two new vendors this week.

A hand-made soap person and a hummus specialist will be on hand from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the east parking lot of the Seaford Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) Station parking lot.

Also new this year is a granola person and an empanada vendor. They join people who provide flowers, produce and a variety of other items. There's a total of 14 vendors at the market, which was started by the Long Island Grower's Market last year.

Donna Jebaily, who helps out every week, said it's quite the destination for people to come and enjoy on a Saturday.

"People in the neighborhood like to go," she said. "They take their kids, they take their dogs and it's a nice little outing."
