A Taste of Seaford Raises Funds for Historical Museum

Local restaurants gather their finest dishes to take part in fundraiser.

On Oct. 26 the Seaford Historical Society held a unique fundraiser involving several local restaurants. The fundraiser entitled A Taste of Seaford benefited the Seaford Historical Museum, with 13 local eateries taking part in the event.

Guests walked about sampling fine foods from many tables set up at the Knights of Columbus Seaford Memorare Council #3476. In addition to the already terrific foods available, raffles were set up for those who wanted to take part and try their luck at great prizes. The event also honored the Seaford Fire Department.

The participating restaurants in the fundraiser included Cara Mia Due, Parkside Café, Butera's, Pomodorino, Il Felice, Il Bacetto, The White Whale, Aztec Emperor, Seaford Deli, Pantano's Kitchen, Phatso's, Tarallo's, and Carmine's. Desserts were also offered by Fehn's Bakery and the Seaford Dunkin Donuts.
