Some of the many businesses who contributed to the raffle included in Wantagh, in Levittown, , Wantagh, in Farmingdale, , and in Levittown.

Hempstead Town Supervisor Kate Murray and Councilman Gary Hudes, R-Levittown, attended the fundraiser and presented Snyder with a citation. Murray and Hudes said they were impressed with Snyder’s dedication to the cause of fighting cancer.

“It’s tremendous to head-up an event," Murray said. "It takes organization and maturity and it’s for a great cause.”

“To spend a Friday night here for a great cause is a good example of a kid in the community and I am proud of her," Hudes said.

Well I couldn't have done it without the support of the American Cancer Society and of course my mom, dad and all of my friends! Thank you.

Way to go Rose-Marie! Taking action, raising awareness and needed funds for research and services for ACS is very admirable, especially for someone so young.
