Government schools and library meetings are all on the agenda as we move to mid-January.
Here's a look ahead:
Library Meeting: The Wantagh Public Library Board of Trustees are holding a budget planning meeting Thursday at 6 p.m. It will be held in the director's office.
School Board: The Wantagh School District will hold a board of education meeting Thursday at 8 p.m.
PTA: The Wantagh PTA council will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at Mandalay Elementary School.
Preschool: William the Abbot School in Seaford will host a presentation Thursday about their pre-school program. at 7 p.m.
Chess: There will be a chess program for children in grades 2 and up at the Seaford Public Library Friday at 4:30 p.m.
