What's going on around Wantagh-Seaford this week.

Students in will learn important lessons on the dangers of substance abuse all week with a program in Seaford.

Red Ribbon Week: This week will be devoted to drug abuse prevention at several Nassau County school districts. There will be a program for fith graders at Seaford Elementary Schools Wednesday.

Blood Drive: Wantagh High School students will take part in a blood drive Friday

Ghouls, Ghosts and Monsters: Just in time for Halloween, the Seaford Public Library will present a lecture by Joseph Flammer and Diane Hill the authors of three books on paranormal activity on Long Island. It meets Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Library Board: The Wantagh Public Library will hold a Board of Trustees Meeting at 7 p.m.
