Celtic Celebration

  • The Community Presbyterian Church of Merrick will be hosting a "Celtic Celebration" on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Performers include the Gordon Highlanders pipe and drum band, Highland dancers, "the kilted juggler" and other surprise performers.
  • Tickets are $5 and children under 12 are free. For more information call 516-378-7761.
East Meadow United Methodist Church Fair
  • East Meadow United Methodist Church will be holding its annual Church Fair for one day only this year: Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • There will be handmade items, jewelry, christmas items, auction, white elephant.  
  • Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and an Italian Dinner will be served from 5-7 p.m.
The Church of St. Jude Annual Country Fair
  • The Church of St. Jude Annual Country Fair is back! Join us for a ton of fun. You will find great food, new gifts (perfect for Christmas or Hanukkah), toys and games, books/DVD’s/CD’s, raffles with amazing odds (1st Prize - $1,000, 2nd Prize – HDTV, 3rd Prize $100 gift card),
  • Community vendors (more holiday ideas!), homemade baked goods, homemade pickles, St. Jude’s country fair cheese, gift basket raffles, St. Jude’s famous hand decorated church mice and much much more!
Temple Sinai's Holiday/Vendor Fair
  • Temple Sinai of Massapequa will be holding it's first annual holiday/vendor fair on Nov. 10. 
  • We have over 30 vendors including Arbonne, Cookie Lee, Madison Handbags, Origami Owl, Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Tastefully Simple, Thirty-One, Touchstone Crystals and Tupperware. Plus a variety of vendors selling specialty and handmade items such as soy candles, handmade jewelry, afghans, scarves, hair accessories, needlepointed items, light up wine bottles, sports items, homemade chocolates, electronic accessories and much more. 
  • Raffles and 50/50 drawing. Come donate your hair to Locks of Love and give a special gift to someone in need this holiday season.

  • In this hands-on, lecture and demo class you will learn how to send, receive, forward and reply to e-mail. 
  • After you have mastered the basics, you will learn how to attach files and download. 
  • Prerequisites: Computer Kindergarten and Computer First Grade Cost: $5.
