Excellent! Removing the egg-hunting ritual as far as possible from the most holy day in theRead More Christian year, Easter, the celebration of Resurrection of Jesus, upon which the entirety of Chistianity is based. Having a "Spring Egg Hunt" was a great idea and so was its timing! I hope this catches on and spreads in years to come.

My dog has been taking Rimadyl for about a year now. She has never had any problems with it. But myRead More vet made it VERY clear to never give any more than prescribed, and to try giving smaller amounts if possible. I get by with only giving it to her a couple times a week. After this story though, I believe I will be seeking alternative options.

My dog has has taken Rimadyl, he never had any problems with it. I know several people who haveRead More given their dogs this medication and not one has had a problem.. My heart goes out to those who lost their love bugs. I wonder what the ratio of adverse reactions/no reactions, is?
Missing Belle April 23, 2013 at 10:00 am
From the The Rimadyl Freedom of Information Summary: The FDA Label states that Rimadyl is notRead More approved safe for dispensing unless the CIS is provided with the prescription. As a pet owner, you pay for the medication and should get what the FDA and pharmaceutical manufacturer state that you are entitled to receive with the paid for prescription. Anything short of that is fraud. The CIS is the approved research on the prescription and that is the information the pet owner should get. The FDA approval process is our government’s medication dispensing regulation standard and if they say this is the requirement for dispensing and it is not included with the prescription then the prescription has been misrepresented. The individual state veterinary regulatory boards say they don't regulate the dispensing of veterinary medications to include the CIS so if the vet doesn't give it to you they don't care. Our four year old Lab, Belle, died 10 days after taking Rimadyl. The medication was negligently prescribed and negligently dispensed. After 5 days on the medication, Belle was admitted for emergency Rimadyl toxicity treatment for severe liver failure and died of a severe perforating pyloric ulcer that per the necropsy stated resulted from Rimadyl.

Thank God they were false alarms and not the real thing, And also that no one got hurt getting toRead More the scene.. Sounds like something that can be fixed. And I am sure like the rest of us taxpayers, he is paying or whomever owns the property is paying in their taxes for fire protection. The guy is trying to show the area he is willing to be a part of the community with fund raising, don't give the guy a bad taste for Wantagh. We all don't share your view
Kevin B March 26, 2013 at 07:00 pm
They should also pay the Wantagh Fire Dept the money it cost them to answer the numerous falseRead More alarms since opening, smoke alarms going off in the AM when they stoke the coal fire. Kudos to the volunteers who get rolled out for these false alarms, and the taxpayers who have to foot the bill for equipment and fuel to answer these nonsense calls.

Maybe Cullen and Murray are digging their own political graves.
Robert Demarco March 22, 2013 at 06:51 pm
Just another photo-op for a corrupt politician who does nothing for the taxpayers.
