Originally from Green Bay, Wisconsin, I came to New York to play on Hofstra University's golf team. At Hofstra, I covered news stories ranging from goats at Norman Levy Park in Merrick to the death of Osama bin Laden. While reporting news is a thrilling and exciting experience, what I enjoy most is meeting the people who tell me the story first.
