Wantagh Chamber to Host Meet the Candidates Event

The Wantagh Chamber of Commerce is going to give the public to meet and greet candidates on November's ballot in an informal setting Wednesday.

The chamber is hosting a Meet the Candidates night at Johnny Malone's located at 1127 Wantagh Avenue from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Chamber website describes it as an "informal meet and greet."

Admision is free and it will look more like a cocktail party than a political debate as there will be no speeches. There will be complimentary  hors d'oeuvres and  a cash bar.

There will be about 20 local candidates from all parties running for local office, and the public is invitd.
