Some Good News from Wantagh
Ribbon Cutting at Wantagh Schools Full-Day Kindergarten program!
Ten A.M. Friday, the leadership of the Wantagh School District gathered together with our elementary school principals, kindergarten teachers, elected officials and community members to greet Wantagh's very first class of full-day Kindergartners. This was truly a heartwarming event!
Welcoming the Class of 2027 in the very first month of their school careers, seeing their smiling faces, hearing their joyful singing, thinking back 61 years to my own first days as a Kindergartner in this very same school, watching the formal ribbon cutting ceremony, imagining the future ahead of these wonderful children (as well as my own grandchildren) was a truly awesome experience.
We need good news about meaningful plans that come to fruition in these times.
