They took part in programs including signing an anti-bullying pledge and designing posters related to the program.

Among those on hand to help students sign the pledge, was Miss Wantagh 2013, Angelica Balitsos.

“Our goal is to bring everyone together at Wantagh High School and to make them aware of the effects of bullying,” she said. “We want to make the campus a place where students are not passing judgment on one another.”

THere was also a cupcake and cookie sale with proceeds going toprograms to stop bullying and cyberbullying.
