Wantagh Teachers, Administrator Granted Tenure
Business chief and 10 teachers receive designation at May 2 Board of Education meeting.
One administrator and 10 teachers in the Wantagh School District were granted tenure at the May 2 Board of Education meeting.
Prior to the meeting, the Board of Education held its annual Tenured Teacher Reception, during which administrators and trustees gathered to acknowledge the hard-work and dedication that the teachers receiving tenure have given to the district and its students.
The administrator who received tenure was Assistant Superintendent for Business Dana DiCapua. The teachers that received the designation include Math teacher Joan Cusack (Math), Natalie Douglas (Art), Angela Gilley (Counselor), Joseph Green (Social Studies), Sean Naughton (Social Studies), Jaymie Phillips (Speech), Jamie Stanulis (Business), Christina Tepedino (English), Robert Voegler (Science) and Franco Zagari (Foreign Language).
