VIDEO: Annual Seaford Wellness Council Hot Chocolate 5K Draws Big Crowd

Annual event brings out more than 1,000 runners to the streets of Seaford.

More than 1,000 people took part in the eighth annual Seaford Wellness Council Hot Chocolate Run held this past Saturday morning.

The 3.1 mile race started and ended in front of Seaford High School. The top male finisher was 19-year old Ryan Healy of Syosett with a time of 16:31. First to cross the finish line among females was 30-year old Shari Klarfeld of Plainview with a time of 18:37.

Following the race, hot chocolate and bagels were provided to all participants.
